INTRODUCTION

In writing this book, I have tried to capture ones thoughts, and their perceptions, to put them to words.

The poems are written as truth and straight to the point. Some may sting ones
feelings occasionally, but as the saying goes; “ The truth sometimes hurt.”
I incorporate my paintings to fit the poems I write, and for the poems, I sometimes
paint a picture to go along with them. The three together commanded my title:
“POETRY ART & TRUTH”.

This book isn’t written solely about my feelings, or me, but it is written about
how one may feel and their feelings about themselves…at the time.

As you read these daily thoughts, be sure to highlight you favorite, and reflect
back on them occasionally… as a pick me up…to show someone else the way… as an attitude check… or when you just plain feel good about yourself.

Hopefully you will be inspired to share what is seen and what is said to someone you care about…I did…
